Unicorn Roar is a WOSB consultancy specializing in growth strategy, program development and stakeholder engagement for government agencies, educational institutions, and public-private partnerships.  We help clients solve clarity problems by translating complex initiatives into compelling narratives that build stakeholder alignment, secure strategic partners, and drive measurable growth.

PAST PERFORMANCE

NYC VIDEO GAME FESTIVAL - Direct Prime Contract (2026)

Client: NYC Mayor’s Office of Media & Entertainment 

Key Outcomes:

  • Served as the prime contractor directly engaged by the NYC Mayor’s Office of Media & Entertainment, an advancement from subcontractor role earned through demonstrated performance

  • Managed cross-sector stakeholder engagement across NYC Public Schools and corporate sponsors

  • Drove program expansion to 3,000+ student participants representing all 32 NYC school districts 

  • Developed and executed sponsorship strategy; managed partner relationships

  • Follow-on award secured: 2027 program expanding to a 2-day festival format with three new competitions (Game Design & Interactive Media, LEGO Build the Change, STEM Darts), expanded school leadership engagement, increased press coverage, and broader industry participation 

NYC VIDEO GAME FESTIVAL - Subcontract (2025)

Client: NYC Mayor’s Office of Media & Entertainment (via Glow Global Events, Prime)

Key Outcomes:

  • Provided program strategy, stakeholder coordination, and sponsorship development as subcontractor under Glow Global Events

  • Supported citywide educational programming connecting NYC public school students to video games as tools for collaboration, problem solving, and digital creation 

  • Performance on this engagement directly led to direct prime contract award in 2026

BATTLE OF THE BOROUGHS - Advisory Engagement (2023- 2024)

Client: NYC Mayor’s Office of Media & Entertainment/ NYC Public Schools

Key Outcomes:

  • Began as strategic advisory engagement. Performance and program impact led to formal subcontract, demonstrating Unicorn Roar’s ability to build trust and earn expanded scope
